My time @ Westbourne Sports College in Ipswich

The beginning

I started Westbourne in 1999 when it was known as Westbourne High School. The first day is memorable it seems like yesterday. I remember going up to my tutor and saying "hi". I even still have the uniform. It was a white shirt, a orange and blue tie and trousers. Such a clear picture.

I even remember when they changed the logo to the one on the left. It was when I started Year 10 in 2002. They even changed the uniform to a blue polo shirt and ditched the tie, thankfully.

Sixth Form

In 2004 I started Sixth Form, and what a fun start I had. The panic was all over when I received my GCSE results and I had enough, well more than enough points to do the courses that I wanted to do. I did ICT and Design Technology, even General Studies, which to be fair was a waste of time for me and everyone else. I did so much in Sixth Form I was supprised to get the grades that I did to get into University. Well grades to do the Foundation ICT degree that is. The third year is the final year that turns it in to a lovely degree to show off to people.

Also during Sixth Form I did a lot of assisting people. I helped our Sixth Form Head with various computing stuff, setting it up and showing her how to operate it in different situations. Also I did a lot of work with the ICT technicians, keeping the network running, replacing toners, keyboards, and especially mice as the students kept cutting the cables.
